Everyone looks up to the Trio. Adakite Bloodstone, Virginia W. Cornflower, and last but certainly least among the Europeans, Saccharide Fleuve.
A lot of people can't look past this demigod's soft persona. Saccharide gives Europe tsunamis. Saccharide kidnaps children to put in their Magic Trio-assigned alternate realm. Saccharide is a sly bitch. Saccharide is such a master manipulator, he's going to need more fingers to wrap people around.
That is to say, Saccharide is a little more... malicious than she wants you to believe.
In typical Magic Trio fashion, Saccharide's parents are absent. Some speculate they couldn't handle the spotlight of being the parents of a bitch- I mean, a demigod magician!
They actually don't exist. Saccharide was placed on Earth by a certain ghostly coast redwood at the ripe old age of 10 from an unknown location and told to fuck off.
Saccharide was always able to manipulate water. Just not to the extent of creating tsunamis, back then.
They had a little too much fun with their powers. Europe suffered.
And, also in typical Magic Trio fashion, Saccharide has his very own alternate realm!
Which was a horrendous idea on the certain ghostly coast redwood's part.
As soon as Saccharide got a hand of the magic, she started... well.

Saccharide lured people in, tapped them with their wand, and off they went!

Fortunately, everything has to come to an end at some point.
Kory - magic pink fox kid, that one? - decided to visit Saccharide's realm one day.
She was not expecting a bunch of scared children and young adults to be trying to build houses out of kelp.
Kory, being the concerned little 10 year old they are, immediately told Virginia.
Which led to quite the confrontation, lots of media backlash, and the ultimate stigmatization of magicians in the west.

Adakite absolutely hates Saccharide's guts after ne found out that they were kidnapping people, using their magic for evil. Saccharide just thinks Adakite's very amusing. If ne wasn't one of the other demigods, Saccharide probably would have kept Adakite in Candyru too.

Virginia despises Saccharide for the kidnappings, and for traumatizing Kory. Saccharide thinks the same way of Virginia that they do Adakite.

As her adoptive parent, Virginia never lets Saccharide within a five-mile radius of Kory, after she saw all of Saccharide's hostages fighting for their lives, trying to build meager shelters, flailing in the endless water. Kory doesn't really hate Saccharide, however, even though she really should.
